They wanted to play for the Canon O Brien that day but I heard the College wanted it closer to their Fitz game on Wednesday night. Might be just talk though.

The issue is inter county teams weren't allowed play games until 1st January. Which is a fair point, I think they should.

But it's odd for him to bring it up when they clearly broke the rules on that day.

Good to see Rob Downey full-back but weak on the wings in defence. Forwards pretty much as expected considering the injuries. Limerick have about 5 players who figured as AI winners and should win this one.

What’s the best way to watch the league games on TV lads? I can’t see the GAA GO schedule, will they cover all of the league games?

I presume the examiner will only be doing the home games? If GAA GO has them all I’d just pay for the season pass now

Anyone know what the craic with Brian Turnbull is? He looked like he’d get a chance but he never really pushed on. Injury when he was a minor must have really set him back.

I think someone on here said he was in Canada at one stage.

Himself and Evan Sheehan were two very exciting forwards. I would have said they'd make an impact at senior level. It never works out the way you think for some lads for various reason.

It was great watching them as minors though.
