A fine club hurler who had over a decade at senior intercounty level to prove his ability and consistency and didn’t. We have the bones of 3 successful underage winning teams coming through and we are looking at reaching back for a fella who was dropped a year ago heading into his thirties. Time to move on

It would be foolish to completely disregard Lehane after the season he’s just had for Midleton. There may be a role for him like Shane Dowling for a year or 2. It’s a conversation between management and Conor.

Good suggestion. But would come down to whether management would want someone for that last 15 minutes role as an impact sub, and whether Lehane would want to give up a year of his life, and a year of training and playing regularly with his club, to be a possible impact sub.

Just to be clear, he's only getting the same stick for the same years we gave him stick before. Nobody denying he had a great year with the club.

Eoin Cadogan is after announcing that he is retiring from Intercounty Hurling. A true warrior for Cork over the last 15 years. A top class dual star who gave it his all for the Rebel County. Best of luck to him in his retirement.

Eoin Cadogan for 15 years gave great service to Cork hurling and football at the highest level won plenty medals the big one of course the Senior Football All-Ireland medal in 2010 ...Cork has a long and proud record of great dual players and Eoin Cadogan and Aidan Walsh are two who managed it in a time of backdoor and round robin Championships ....A big thank you Cads for all ...a very honest player what you saw is what you got.
