Cork Hurlers - Part 2

It will be interesting to see if Waterford use TDB as the sweeper this week, If so the midfield and half forwards better have their shooting boots on and be ready to pick them off from distance.

Hoggy's free taking will need to be alot better on Sunday aswell.
I don’t think there’s any question, TDB will sweep. Been saying the half forward line will need to take their points. Agreed on Hoggie as well.

I copped you a long time ago. You only post when it’s close to a Limerick game and you insult Cork constantly. Tell us again about Sean O Donughue diving to get McCarthy sent off yet every pundit in the game including Shane McGrath and Liam Sheedy two proud Tipp men said no complaints but you let your gaurd down again with a silly insult.
There is good Limerick posters on here Cock Knocka and Ah ref etc and we have craic and respect but you are a joke now and just man up instead of the make up.
More drivel
If you criticize cork you are not from cork now.

the SOD stuff was ridiculous and I rightly callled it out. He got a harmless belt into the chest and he went down holding his balls to get a teenager sent off.

Liam Sheedy certainly alluded to the play acting by SOD on Dalos podcast. Clear as day fin and a blight on the game.

Sean Walsh isn’t much of a hurler but he’s an awkward effective type nonetheless… straight into 14 surely on ED. Kiely more likely a puc out target at 10.

I’m glad they’ve left Fives & Leavy in there, Kieran Bennett is very hard done by, way better player than both those lads. Montgomery, Caelum Lyons and Jack Fagan have been big losses for them this year.

Just can’t see too many match ups where we come out second best but that goes out the window if we are anyway off it in the opening quarter. Waterford will bring a savage work rate guaranteed, and if they’re in it at half time, we could be in bother as our second half performances have been shocking for a few games now.

This should be made for Darragh Fitz though - he has to respond to last weeks performance and will have the legs on a few of those Waterford lads operating in his part of the pitch. If he’s on it, he’ll open things up for others and we’ll be difficult to stop getting over the 30pt mark.
Still surprised Gleeson isn’t getting more time. And if there was a 14 to throw in it would be him.

I thought Waterford were poor enough against Tipp - some of the wides and poor shot selection was akin to a 1B league team. Calum Lyons is a huge loss.
They need to cut out the nonsense with Dr Burca and switch him with Mark Fitz who is hands down their best player.

Dessie has just been very poor this year to date also.

Absolutely. When Fitzy is going well Cork are a different team. Big games needed from him and Tim O Mahony

Not to interrupt a good ruck but your terrible take on SOD is unique. Everyone I’ve heard across all the media platforms including all Tipp contributors said it was a red, no question for McCarthy.
If you think SOD holding his nuts, chest or head while lying on the ground had something to do with the incident information provided to the ref by umpires 30m away, the refs decision to issue a red and the subsequent suspension then I’m afraid you don’t know the rules.

It was a red...no doubt about it...but holding his balls after dig in the chest.!

Every strike is a red card - no question and he can have no complaints

that’s different from my point about SOD playacting and painting a different picture of incident to get the ref to show a red card

The Clare lad did something similar to Barrett week before - it’s a blight on game

Is head butt a red.?
