Just looking up the Munster final date in case we’re involved. Am I right in that it’s set for Saturday 7th June at 6pm? Why Saturday and why 6pm? Seems awful late in the evening.

It was some silly rotation thing the GAA brought in for the provincial finals. Leinster was Saturday evening last year.

Times have changed a bit if you’ll pardon the pun . A Saturday evening suits a lot of people nowadays for big games too.
