Cork Hurlers - Part 2

Noticed the same thing great match and good ref no need for a red a yellow is plenty
The worst transgressions go unpunished. I remember Seamus Flanagan’s elbow to Stephen Bennet’s head; Ronan Maher’s shoulder to Fitzgibbon’s head in 2023; Gearoid Hegarty’s slap to Joe Canning’s back in 2018; Barrett barely touched that little Clare diver!

Waterford are going to get 2 wins at home. We can go to Limerick and bring down the Beast again. Shannonside worshipping lickspittles need not reply.
I can't see what people seem to be able to see in Waterford.

I'm not saying they're wrong but what I've seen of Waterford so far is unimpressive. Some of the players don't even look that fit.

I'll probably be eating humble pie after the weekend.

Speaking of 'Sam'... Tadhg Kennelly hit on Nicholas Murphy. I can't recall if he was even booked.

My last word on Clare, till we meet again, 3 championship games in the last 12 months, they beat us in a tight game down the Pairc and beat us again in an even tighter game in the all-Ireland and last Sunday they dragged us into a fight and almost beat us again. But they didnt

Last Sunday showed me two things, when we open up we are devestating and almost unplayable, but we must maintain that level for 70 minutes not just 35 and we must keep our heads when all around are losing theirs, the feckers are inside our heads at this stage and for me that’s a good thing, if we have anything about us there will be no let up the next time we play them

Time to focus on Tipp lads, this is a defining moment in our teams journey, win and we are back on track, lose and we are back playing Russian roulette with our season, just like the Clare game id take a one point win on Sunday

But I want to see a hurt team with fire in their bellies and calm in their minds

Bring on the team announcement, it will be very interesting

Surprised so many are claiming that Clare always have our measure

Are some people forgetting that we got a red card ?

John Mullane thinks Cork would have won by 5/7 pts but for the red.

IMO that's a fair conclusion.

Clare do not have our measure and we are a bit ahead of them.
The past 4 years championship results would indicate Clare currently have Corks measure. Cork haven't been able to get over the line v Clare in one score games.

2022: Clare beat Cork in Thurles by 2pts.
2023: Clare beat Cork in Ennis by 1pt.
2024: Clare beat Cork in PUC minus Tony Kelly by 2pts.
2024: Clare beat Cork in AIF by 1pt.
2025: Clare get a draw v Cork without hurler of year and full back.
