Cork Hurlers - Part 2

Theres a bit of delusion around here on cork in this area. Yes we have lads like hogan Mcinerney Duggan and those who might get stuck into winding lads up but we have plenty who wouldnt open their mouth same as cork

Anyone who was at the league game could see how the cork lads were sowing it in to our players as the goals went in.
Righty so from their perspective.

Anyone see John McGrath shoving Quaid over after his 2nd goal and a limerick back responding.

This is a brutally tough environment
stop crying about bullshit ffs
I think most people have no issue with the physical intimidation, verbals etc, it's always been part of the game. It's the diving that drives most people mad. If you're happy with the diving, holding your head trying to get fellas sent off then it's a real pity the likes of you and your ilk have any involvement in our sport.

Unfortunately there are still loads of fellas on here who don’t get this, to win at this level with a host of teams at the same level needs absolute ruthlessness on both sides of the line, we didn’t see that from cork in particular yesterday, the whinging about hogan is fucking embarrassing, he does what he has to do to win and because of this he has won an absolute hat full of of medals
There are finally a couple of cork players who understand they but there are still a couple who don’t get it, at this stage after 20 fucking years anything goes, I don’t give a fuck how cork play its all about winning the fucking thing, fight, bite, dive, goad do it, listen to the former players in punditry they wouldn’t give a fuck, next time come play Clare if it’s this season and a cork player is hit he drops very
Simple because that will happen on the other side. Our red card record over the last 2 Munster championships is brutal and we aren’t the dirtiest team out there by a long shot
In all sports great teams do what is needed to give them an edge,If that means feigning injury then so be it, This business of " we are cork we don't do that " is ridiculous,
If the famine is to end you have to be single minded.

It's can be about luck as much as anything. Look at Limerick 2018 and Clare last year as examples of going all the way.

I completely disagree. My kids play lots of sports and the amount of cheating going on in underage soccer is horrific. People are just copying what they see at the highest level. The GAA is completely different but it has already crept into Gaelic Football courtesy of the Nordies and Clare have started it in the hurling. I'd hate to be going to underage games in 20 years time seeing my grandkids rolling around feigning injury.

I agree with that but I also see where Jim is coming from. The difference is, amateur sport, and the lack of financial rewards etc is why we all love hurling. We need to preserve that culture.

You're the idiot that was slagging off Shane Kingston, when he came on against Limerick last year and saved our season. Go back to Junior Z, you absolute angry charlatan.
There is no junior z unfortunately, Kingston did save our season last year and unfortunately has not found any form since, Sunday was a further example of this, his touch and handling are poor at this level imo, that’s opinion imo not slagging, I think also from your post it’s you who is quite angry

That's five games in a row now lads Cork have failed to beat Clare. It's fuck all to do with diving or anything like that. We were in winning positions the last three times we played them and couldn't close it out.

We can't seem to beat them, they can't beat Limerick and Limerick struggle with us. Pick champions out of that puzzle!
Everyone is ignoring Kilkenny. I’d imagine they are sick shit of hearing how great the Munster Championship is.
