Cork Hurlers - Part 2

no doubt This is the usual ticketmaster bollocksology flogging shit tickets to serious supporters who know they want to go and leaving plenty of excellent seats for pricks who will look out the window the day of the game and decide by weather and how good the seats are to decide whether to go

And season ticket holders having to scramble for empty seats, there's 7 of us there we should be able to walk into the stadium whatever time we please and have allocated seats together.

if its unreserved i would be happy enough
I like to go along early to invent wild theorys in my head about whats going to happen based on the warm up that i totally ignore ten minutes in if i am wrong.

The ironic thing being that i usually couldnt hit a cows arse with a banjo before matchs but was fine once the game started :D

In the last 12 months Cork hurling has played in 6 All Ireland finals in Croke Park and only won one.

Now I suppose to be fair the Cork seniors gave a great account of themselves and were narrowly beaten in the greatest final of all time and Russell Rovers put up a decent fight against St Lachtains last week.

St. Catherine's, Castlelyons and Sars were all heavily beaten after non performances. I wonder are we overthinking the Croke Park factor down here a bit in hurling circles recently and building it up too much to say that our teams are freezing to such an extent. I understand you meet a top team in a final and get beaten but we shouldn't be producing teams who are getting walloped in finals.

It's great that our teams are getting there, and the more we get there the more likely it is that the tide will eventually turn in our favour but it's just how do we start getting more Cork teams over the line on the big day up there.
