Clare have beaten us 4 times in a row, in c/ship.

They have our measure.

We always concede big scores so we needed most of our forwards to play very well.

Harnedy was the only starting forward to play well (Hoggie did v well on frees)

Kingston was the only sub forward to perform.

Add in our failure on puck outs, our failure to close down their short restarts in the 1st half and Johnny Murphy - it's remarkable that we lost by a pt.

Clare, Limerick, Cork are all very good and close so it'll be hard to win it

I watched first 75 minutes there again. I thought Brian Hayes had an excellent 40 minutes. He seemed to be starved of possession after that.
Twomey came in and Fitz went centre forward and Barrett to the wing.
Whatever happened after that he didn’t seem to be getting on the ball.

Duggan caused us alot of problems for the second half.

I have TSG, bbc and RTÉ all recorded and not watched any of em. I will probably just delete and then regret doing it.

I'm a jonah on the Cork Hurling team at Croker. I'm poor enough at the football and great at the camogie but i think it is best for everyone that i just stay in the house.

Having watched the 2 goals Clare Scored again. The Defence stood off like the clare lads had leperecy. They were told no sending off whatever happens but We didn't make effort to Jersey pull stand in the way block .It was all way too loose and that's because they were warned not to get sent off .

The ref screwed us and if he didn't we may well have won. However, we also screwed ourselves through bad tactics, bad prep and some people not being 100%. You cannot control the first point but you can control the second. This is where energy should be. We were screwed out of a win 2013 too by ref. Why do people refuse to learn lessons and be so naive? For a county like Cork you have to win by margins that the ref can't get you. Once it was a close match like that we were doomed. I'm as angry as anyone else but have learnt through experience that it is wasted energy. That said, I would like our county board to really kick up a fuss behind the scenes. Management, players and fans should move on, but the board should demand so kind of redress and accountability. In terms of our own failings, the biggest disappointment was the failure to stop goals. My biggest white pill going into match was that at least we had some physicality and spine unlike 2013 and clare wouldn't waltz through us again. How wrong I was, it was like deja vu. I can get over the half forward line being cleaned out. Things will go wrong. The failure of management to re adjust is a worry. So lack of steel in defence and slow management response.

Yes definitely we’re not screwed over in 2013.
U are hanging your hat on the red playing 40 seconds over injury time. The referee rode Clare that same day and Shane o Neill should have walked for trying to decapitate honan

Just to appreciate the game you’ve got to rewatch it. There was some outstanding scores throughout the game.
