Near as I can tell, here is how we stand:
If Limerick win, Cork are locked into 3rd behind Limerick and Clare, regardless of Clare result. Even if Clare lose they have the head to head tiebreaker on Cork. Waterford lose out on match points.
Limerick v Clare final, Cork qualify.
If Waterford win and Clare win or draw then Cork are 3rd over Limerick on head to head.
Waterford v Clare final. Cork qualify.
If Waterford win and Clare lose then it is a 3 way tie between Cork, Clare and Limerick for 2nd. Cork overwhelming likely to finish 2nd and Limerick 3rd based on pd and scoring tiebreakers.
Clare most likely eliminated on points difference unless Waterford beat limerick by at least 17 points more than Clare lose by:
if its 17 it goes to scoring tiebreakers which are close between Clare and Limerick
If its 18 or more Clare win on PD.
An even less likely scenario, if Limerick lose by a single point they need to score 3-39 in order to match corks scoring tiebreakers. 2 point or greater loss means they lose PD tiebreaker to Cork.
Very Likely Waterford v Cork final, Limerick qualify
Unlikely Waterford v Cork final, Clare qualify
Very unlikely Waterford v Limerick final, Cork qualify
If Limerick and Waterford draw and Clare Win or Draw, Cork are out, losing the 3rd place tiebreaker with Waterford on head to head.
Limerick v Clare final, Waterford qualify.
If Limerick and Waterford draw and Clare lose, Cork finish 2nd, winning the points difference tiebreaker (despite losing head to head to both teams they are tied with).
Clare lose out to Waterford on PD.
Limerick v Cork final, Waterford qualify.
