Cork Hurlers - Part 2

ger loughnanne said about 6 years ago for us to stop ranting and raving about Coleman. He is not viewed outside the county as he is in cork
Was he not nominated for an All Star as a very young player ?
I wonder why that happened ?
I think people inside the county and outside recognise that Coleman is a supremely talented hurler. I would question the judgement of anyone who can't see that.
However, he has sometimes been played in positions that don't really suit him and in particular I think he suffered when playing the loose centre back role for a couple of years.

In the name of gawd what is this absolute nonsense?
You realise that not everyone in Cork has the same view, and, shock horror not everyone outside of Cork is of a single opinion.
For tools yakking on about people being triggered over criticism of Coleman- personally don't mind any considered or insightful opinions but ain't going to keep quiet when the opions are just some recycled clichéd sh**te about him being a "nice" hurler who can't defend.
Or when thickos go on to suggest that there's some snobbery involved in arguing that he should make the Cork team.
Hope he makes y'all eat dirt this year.
Which I think he will if he can stay as fit as he'll need to be come championship.

Not sure if you're including me as one you're hoping will eat dirt this year when I say I think he'd be better tried in midfield than wing back but if Coleman confounds his critics here that'll be a good thing for Cork Hurling and all the various Cork fans here.

I think, barring the odd attention seeking nutter or interloper like TAN we're all of the one mind here in HOPING that Cork can win an AI, but are realistic enough to know that a hell of a lot of things would need to go right for us to achieve that.

?
Twas worded a bit strongly alright!

So still no one said, "he shouldn’t start or that he’s not very good" ? Why make it up?
Jesus you are obtuse. I didn’t directly quote anyone. I didn’t put those words in quotes. It’s called paraphrasing. Multiple people said they wouldn’t start him. Or perhaps one person more than once. Suggesting that he isn’t in the top 10 wing backs in the country is suggesting he isn’t great. Saying he isn’t rated highly outside of Cork is basically saying he isn’t very good. All those things were posted here. Maybe you blocked those people or maybe you are just trolling. I don’t really care either way.

No one is interested in this back and forth between you and I. I will no longer belabor it even if you respond. Moving on.

Try Tim O Mahony centre forward for the remaining league games. He'd be a stronger and a better hurling version of Niall MacCarthy. I'd put Conor Lehane in at corner forward and tell him rove into whatever space on the forwards side of midfield to get into free space for himself

He would not be a "better hurling version of Niall Mc"
