A great point last night considering we were second best for long periods. Need to sort out the midfield area - Tim must come in there surely. Robbie out for 6/7 weeks and Barrett under peri think.
At the same time people will look at Cork’s 1-9 and say very beatablePeople were saying the same thing to me last year about the Barrs, that they were too young and it was a year too soon, I never believed that and I’ll say the same about Cork now. If we get out of Munster we will be very dangerous
It would be some leap to start Power. Unless he's blistering in training between now and then. Also PP was excellent in that league game. Maybe start him and hold SK as impact sub.
Sean didn’t make the bench again last night so he’s hardly going to be starting in two weeks timeSOD if fit. If so ED at 7 for Rob who got roasted at 6 v Clare in League.
I can’t see Padraig starting in two weeks time but he’s still a live option, competition for spots up front is mad though and so far he’s been squeezed outIt would be some leap to start Power. Unless he's blistering in training between now and then.
Absolutely but Shane is our only real option to replace Robbie as his speed creates panic in defencesKingston was excellent last night and was the only out ball in the full forward line for most of the second half. The only thing is an excellent performance came from him again as a sub. Is that his best role going forward?
Tipp got a run on us far too many times last night, it’s a worryStraight after Brian Hayes’ goal, Tommy was beaten in the air again by Tynan but to be able to run right through on goal and not be fouled was criminal. Joyce had a couple of chances to foul him. Only for Patrick Collins superb intervention the game was over. For that to happen again straight after a Cork goal would have been shocking. They need to start fouling fellas when goal chances develop.
