Cork Hurlers - Part 2

Scratching my head at people saying we're gone backwards.

Last year in Munster we played 5, won 2, drew 2 and lost one (a 16 point hammering)

This year in the teeth of an injury crisis we played 5, won 4, lost 1 (by a point).
Who said that?
If we get a bit of a fair wind with luck and injuries over the next 39 days then we'll win the All Ireland.
And a better balance to our play

I think we're stronger this year both on the line and our panel members. The difficulty we're facing is Limerick upped their game this year. People are losing the plot on here talking about a similar MH final and last year's AI final. If we get to play Limerick again if we can break their half back line dominance, and stop Lynch and Hegarty from playing if Limerick are behind we'll beat them.

If we're better on the line why didn't we make more subs last Sunday?

Hindsight is mighty. O 'Donaghue subbing was a good call for me. I would have liked to see BW subbed sooner. There were plenty more calls from the line under Pat when he was in charge that I disagreed with but having said that Pat done a great job bringing the team so far. I'm alot more confident with what Ben has brought to the team.
