Cork Hurlers - Part 2

I do think the narrative out of Limerick is a little strange this year when it comes to the Cork games.
Kiely calling for huge support to come down to the Pairc for the round robin game, Limerick social media talking up turning the 'Pairc' green for the Munster final.
Limerick have very good support anyway so not sure any of this was necessary. It seems to me that Limerick management reckon the Cork support are worth 2 or 3 points to the Cork team, in most interviews now Cork players are repeatedly mentioning the incredible support they are getting so maybe Kiely and co might be onto something and maybe the Cork players do get a bounce from the supporters.
Or maybe Cork are very much in Limericks heads.
I think Limerick were very much in our heads under Pat Ryan. Im not so sure that's the case with Ben O Connor.....yet anyway.

Just on the whole colourblindness thing and the difficulty distinguishing between green and red - do they mention their difficulties in differentiating between green and red on their car insurance applications.

Having difficulty being able to tell between red and green doesn’t seem like a good thing when it comes to traffic lights. 🤔
Nonsense, the green light is very ungreenish wher as the Limerick jersey in greeny green

Trust me i have way more issues watching a cork limerick match than i do a traffic light!

BE BRAVE, BELIEVE!

Limerick core support is decent but we've deffo gotten a bit soft after recent success... our terrace numbers have been down and going by the number of terrace i had offered to me today we'll probably return a few.

I think you're over analysing it. Crowds can influence a game at times but way less than fans would like to think. Managers are just acknowledging their fans.

We might shade it, Joyce and Fitzy are big losses for ye
Ye have very dangerous forwards though and we don’t have an overabundance of pace at the back

If we come out of it with no injuries or stupid red cards I’ll be happy enough
I have a similar feeling with regards Fitz, In recent years for Cork to beat Limerick they have had to hit their very top level.

I wonder can they get to that level without Fitz, it will be interesting to see.

I can’t imagine there will be much in it one way or another.
