Cork Hurlers - Part 2

One thing Ive noticed so far is we seem (I don’t have stats) to have cut out the 15 min spells with no score. I doubt we have gone longer than 7 or 8 so far. Any time it has threatened to happen a big player has stepped up to score. I know it happened first half v Tipp that they scored 4 or 5 unanswered only for Connolly to get a great point. Hayes (I think) got us off the ground v Limerick, etc. Long may this continue

What I like most so far is our structure in that there is far less of the 2 on 2 inside our 40 this year. We are holding our shape and our tackling (especially out the field) has also improved with Cork players finally using the spare arm to put an opponents off (at least). If we keep our shape and aggression levels up it will take a fair team to out score us - we have the forwards to put big scores up.
Good points, especially about the tackling (and consequently Cork not conceding so many maddeningly soft frees, as was still happening during the league). Obviously this new-found discipline might break down in a more high-pressure or physical match, but the signs so far are promising.

Absolutely, but that's for the team to address more so than the supporters, no?

I think that BOC has said similar this year too.
So supporters cannot express opinions on issues and problems they see as it could have a negative impact on the team?
I agree and disagree BOC's interview style is a lot more different to Ryan's. BOC hold cards close to his chest with some intensity. Ryan's were open honest and warm.

Careful highlighting that issue and problem, the team should address it and not us supporters.

I'm not saying that at all, but supporters should recognise that their opinions don't make a blind bit of difference to the team! You are not helping Cork hurling by pointing out what you see as the deficits in the team. You're just expressing your opinion.

His style is different, but he has spoken in post match interviews about areas of improvement for the team- as PR did last year.

So why are on this thread and this forum so? Pointless really expressing opinions.
Then again positive opinions are welcome however deficits/issues/problems/negativity is not welcome.

I have no issue with you (or anyone else) expressing negative opinions. I have an issue with the notion that it is somehow a service to Cork hurling to do so though.
Sure how will they know if pundits/analysts/journalists and supporters don't give their opinions.
Do you actually believe that BOC, or any of his players, are reading this stuff? Seriously like?!
