Yeah, we were gone on the head to head as we were losing to Clare on the last day but thankfully Tipp beat Limerick so there were three teams on 4 points suddenly and we took Clare on Score Difference

Yea that was it, i remember it too, was torrential shower at one stage, I remember being behind the goal and the rain was that heavy you could barely make out the other goal. Absolutely drowned. One match report had it as biblical downpourWas that the day of the thunder and lightening?

In the words of J KielyI think our defensive effort further out the field has been significantly improved and we seem to be protecting our back 3 much better. The management team have had two weeks to study the opposition and two weeks knowing we are without our No 3 and No 6 - I think they will have the team well primed and hopefully the team execute the plan - with good reinforcements off the bench up top.
If we are depending on two guys, we are at nothing.
Limerick annihilated Clare that year too, ruining their score difference, which caused Clare to be eliminated in the end
I couldn't go that day because one of the kids was sick. My buddy I gave the tickets to still doesn't talk to me....It was the worst day I was ever at a match. Followed closely by the Killarney replay in 2015.
When that downpour happened not only could I not see the other goal I couldn’t even see the one straight in front of me!
