I have genuinely no idea how you or anyone could look at those two players and think Deccy is the one with the questionable temperament. Even if the discussion was about their form over the last 2 years there's only one winner. Absolutely baffling but look....BOC agrees with you tbf

I'm not questioning Hayes or Connolly...I'm saying both had 2 poor AI finals...yet you aren't questioning their temperament for the big day? I could go through the team in that regard!

ROF has also played in 2 finals and underperformed....again you don't question his temperament? I just think that's very strange and unfair. He's been around long enough and never had a full string consistent Champ campaign.

There's 3 or 4 lads on the 26 Deccy should be well ahead off all things being fair imo. I had no problem with him not starting.

I didn’t give anyone a free pass, there are other players that if they are not on the panel I’m not surprised, Shane Kingston is another. Is it still double standards?
I hope Deccie proves me wrong and goes on to win us an All Ireland, i don’t think he will but me questioning his temperament for the big day is not disrespectful, it is an opinion.
You’re entitled to yours and we both are looking for a win on Sunday.

My opinion is that you might be a gobshite, but it's only my opinion so it can't be disrespectful right?

You questioned a players temperament for the big day. There isn't a worse insult you could throw at a player. The fact you can't grasp this tells me you're strictly a hurler on the ditch.

You’re usually a good poster but if you think that posters won’t make comment on whether players are good enough or have the mental strength for it then you’re off your game bai.

It's borderline moronic to single out one player's temperament after the team losing two finals....this is the point.

Also I think anyone who has played the game even at u12 D level would realise questioning a fellas temperament for the "big day" is a desperate insult of a player. 100 other things you could analyse before getting to that. Questioning if a fella might be "good enough" as an overall package is different and not what that poster said tbf!

I don't see any sign of it with Deccy either. Any player who can effectively do a job a player like K Hayes in knockout hurling isn't lacking anything upstairs or inside the jersey imo.
