Cork Hurlers - Part 2

So an All Star from last year is benched?
That type of mentality is why most people could never manage a panel.
A fella gets an award off a few journalists in November and he doesn't have to lift a finger till April because "shur you cant drop an all star". BS.
There are more inform players in every position Joyce has played so far in the league. He could still absolutely start but he needs an injury free run of form.

Interesting points. There was alot of chat on here pre league for Coleman to midfield. With BOC selecting Coleman wing back from the 1st league game, I thought Coleman was nailed on wing back.

Are you not convinced on TOM midfield? He was motoring well, possibly al star form, last year, up to the final.
Annnnnd we’re back to dicussing moving Mark Coleman out of 7 when there is a near 0% chance of that happening. It’s one of the favorite pastimes of this thread.

If Paudie was being seriously considered he would have played more league game. Patrick will be in goal for championship

Exactly, we have 4 top class half backs, plus COB and DC who can do a job there, its just about finding the right mix or probably more importantly what way we are going to set up, ie who will be full back

Tim and Tommy have been my choice all year, serious mix of hurling, workrate, power and attitude in them. BOS is a long way off being next man in, Joyce and Fitzy being switched are the obvious choices for me

Huge options half foward alright, add William Buckley to that list too

Buckley is in the driving seat for Tipp alright but Barry Walsh will push him hard and they may swop roles for the Limerick game a week later

Barry, Deccie and hopefully Paudie Power will give us big options inside

Having a stab off the 26 for Tipp i think they will go with

Collins
Niall, Daire, Sean
Eoin, Rob, Mark
Tommy, Tim
Darragh, Shane, Duds
William, Brian, Alan

PSull, Ger, Damien, Ciaran, Cormac, Ethan, Seamus, Declan, Hugh, Robbie, Barry, Power
picked the same starting team a week ago or so.

And it matters diddy squat. So if people want to discuss him playing midfield let them, if you wanna cry about people discussing him playing midfield that’s okay as well.
Neither will matter to Ben. The opinions posted on this thread are 100% irrelevant in the greater scheme of things.

I get it but it’s such a waste of time. There are things to discuss that might actually happen.

It’s your favourite pastime Bronxy, nobody really has a problem with Coleman but I’d say every single Coleman discussion here starts with you getting upset that someone might say that he could be moved.

Coleman's touch and balance are so good, he could go well midfield but he's been excellent wing back during the league. He's our best wing back line player on form followed by Eoin Downey.

Hope he and others get injury free soon.
