I'm confident for 2 reasond.

1. I don't go with the narrative that we lost because of a 2nd half meltdown. I think we lost it in the 1st half as our inept tactics played right into Tipps hands and gave them the belief that Cahills risk was correct. We needed to play smart hurling to rattle their belief

2. We didn't bring the required intensity on 3 occasions. Round robin v Lim. 2nd half in Ennis and AI Final.

Husseys work is focused on responding with backs to the wall. I believe it's very effective..
Ben will ensure max intensity at all stages of every c/ship.

I believe in Ben and the backroom team.

I think Limerick are still ahead of us and will win the AI but it will not be due to our mental state.

Their is a belief in the squad that we will get our tactics right and give of our best then see where it gets us

If Cork are improved on last year Limerick would have to massively improved to be ahead of Cork.

We were lucky to be 6 up (last minute goal), we should have been further ahead.

Fair enough but that doesn't mean they lost it in 1st half when they played the worst hurling I've ever seen in the 2nd half.

That's a very generous way to look at things from a Limerick POV. They've only beaten Cork 1 in the last 4. I don't care where their heads were, not beating 14 man Dublin was an enormous fuck up

100%. They absolutely threw it away in the Munster final. That being said, I think we’ve shown this year a blend of everything, physical, skillful, aggressive. I think we’ve also seen a change in how we are going to play the game and this is why our matchups with Limerick will be more balanced this year. Tommy OConnell brings that Edge and if I had to pick one player who would’ve changed that collapse in 25 it was him. I’m genuinely enthusiastic and buzzing for how we set up this year and the options that we have. Limerick are a super team, whoever beats them this year are champions IMO

So they just get a pass for getting beaten by an average Dublin team that was down a man for 20 minutes? That's totally excused now because they've won in the past? I'm not saying Limerick can't win it. I'm saying Cork have been better than them the last 2 years. If Cork are now better than they were Limerick will have to be much better than they've been the last 2 years.

When you’ve won what they have won - yes you get the pass for the Dub performance.

They are a phenomenal team but Cork are a team that can, and have beat them. Cork has an excellent panel aswell - but until they get over the line the question marks will stay and that’s what makes Limerick the top pick - today.
