I wishYou must get better insight on here!
It will be interesting to see what happens.I hope they do because they wont be winning any all ireland then
Hoggie asked WOD what the Limerick goals would have been for the second half and WOD replied kind of awkwardly that " Im not telling you what the goals were, I'd say you know yourself what the goals were"What was the reaction?
I though it was interesting. I'd love to be a psychologist to have an idea of what went on in his head in that moment. It seemed like Cantwell annoyed him by asking about the team's history. He wanted to emphasise the point that history had nothing to do with what they were at now. It seemed important to him to look at things that way, and to have everybody else look at them that way too. Perhaps he doesn't like 'the weight of history?' It almost seemed like that was still on his mind when he snapped at Hoggie. The mask kind of slipped a bit. In that camp it just seems extremely important to think about here and now only, and not to have the big bad media trying to burden them with history.Hoggie asked WOD what the Limerick goals would have been for the second half and WOD replied kind of awkwardly that " Im not telling you what the goals were, I'd say you know yourself what the goals were"
Now as I said it was a thing of nothing really just an awkward exchange played out on live TV.
It was far more odd then anything any Cork player said or done after the game on Sunday.
Thats highly debatable and I suspect untrue.I don't think any management group or any player from any county in hurling or football takes any notice of what is said in the media.
It is all just hot air designed to keep the clicks up and generate some money if possible.
I have never listened to any podcast on GAA and have no intention of starting.
