Cork Hurlers - Part 2

This is exactly the point I have been making.. people are losing their shit naming starting 15s like once you make the decision they automatically stay fit and in form. The starting 15 is neither here nor there, the best 3 in any one line doesn’t matter either. We need a squad who can deputise no matter what, and the flexibility to alter our side to react to what we are trying to do and what we are facing
Would agree, it takes more than the 15. Add in key subs and the odd start due to injury. Or swapping out early if a player is off form. 27 players used last year.

The 'deputise' bit is very important. Ben recognised the messages from PR last year on how difficult it was to get his message on the field. It's good to see the team adjusting during the game. Tipp started very composed last night and Cork adjusted quick enough. Same towards the end when Cork needed to close it out.
