Tipp have had their own meltdowns as well, most notably against Limerick in the 2021 munster final.

Nice interview in today's Irish Times with Pat Ryan. It's behind a paywall and unfortunately I'm not savvy enough to post it here.

Interesting line I took from it about the way Cork set up and the criticism Cork defenders get

"Like, I remember people complaining that we gave up too many scores. Clare scored 3-26 against us in 2024, but we scored 3-24 that day. Nobody was talking about Clare conceding 3-24."


Wouldn't be suprised to see Pat Ryan back involved in the future.

id love it, Pat was the man who changed the culture within the group and if we win the all ireland in the next few years it will have been down to Pat as much as anyone else

its not weird at all, its a league game with 2 points at stake and an opportunity to look at a few players and a few tactical tweaks, win, lose or draw this game will be irrelevant come championship
