Cork Hurlers - Part 2

Perhaps

He won't learn much about other keepers on the bench though

Pointless giving them one game v Offaly either
I agree with you, He might have had some magical moments, typically a very good keeper but I can't see Cork winning an All Ireland with him in goals as he will panic on All-Ireland day by making a few bad decisions, short puckout straight to opposition not a mind caking under high ball on the big day.

Looks like an excellent selection from Ben again.

Shane McGrath says that "it's a game that Cork can't afford to lose"

Ben won't be remotely concerned by this kind of drivel.

He's got to learn quickly who can do a job for him.

Tomorrow will be a very important guide to the defence.

Maybe he's looking at options in the FB line and MF.

The intense competition has to be a huge positive for the group

Two solid sides with a fair shake of shadow boxing on both sides as well as fellas get a crack in various spots. Like the look of our middle 8, big opportunity for Mullins in particular.
Should be an enjoyable evening no matter the result, 30k approx for a league game in Feb in the middle of the 6 nations...who would have thought it and dare I say it, vindication for Prionsias and his vision all those years ago 🙈🤣

Looking forward to seeing the Two Downeys in the half back line.
Eoin has certainly put the work in at the gym that Rob didn't.
And looks a very imposing prospect.

That Cork back 6 has a much more menacing look to it.
Surprised Tommy OC didnt get a start.
Maybe management has seen what they need from him so far.

Either way Darragh Fitz days as a midfielder look to be over.
And thats no bad thing either.
For Darragh.
Or for the team.

In the FF like it's Hayes nailed on
Connolly in pole.
I reckon he may be thinking Harnedy for the 3rd slot but with the role to drift out the field.

And good to see if Mullins can cut it.
I would have my doubts there.
Could be wrong
Hopefully wrong
