Seems bizarre. I assume the club are not appealing it because one way or another he is not going to be available to play because of the injury, but I would have thought they should appeal it on principle tbh.

It's harsh but I suppose he was the one who started it all really by going after the opposition player who caught him late, final whistle was gone at that stage. I don't think he'd have got any suspension only for the publicity that followed

I didn't see the full incident, but unless he struck someone before the altercation with the pitch invader, it seems harsh on him.

Just been on to Croke Park re Hurling Season Tickets. None available to new customers, nor expected to be available for the next few years. As regards Season Tickets, being 80 year old I reckon that I can kiss my ass goodbye.

It’s a balance I suppose, they want to also keep a level of tickets available for public demand vs tying up huge numbers of tickets which maybe limit the ability to bring the sport to a broader base of families who wouldn’t be able to commit to a full season ticket.

No easy solution to it
