I was thinking the same about COB, would be interesting to see him tried at FB.there will be a whiff of sulphite in the air for the first few months which will sharpen their minds. The threat of losing ypur spot under a new manager does that to people
its time to let the young lads lead the way, give it to Joyce or Hayes, id go Joyce as he is the leader of that younger group of players
We need a solid full back, he will be an option, id love to see Cormac O Brien tried there, another warrior
at least the leafy suburbs kept us clean and dry eh bogman?Funny being called a bogman by people who crawled out of the tenements in The Marsh.
was corner back in the under 20 team that won the all irelandI was thinking the same about COB, would be interesting to see him tried at FB.
Has he played there at underage or for Newtown?
That fella loves a scrap and he’ll get plenty of them at FB.
A ridiculous pull by Denis Walsh on DJ to give away a penalty. In the leaba recuperating from minor injury. I therefore had the time to look at the 1992 SH Final. Whereas I attended that game my recollections are a little hazy. One thing was not at all hazy and that was the utter brilliance of Brian Corcoran. His only blemish in the game was a series of missed long range frees. In truth, the Cork bench should have removed that onus from his young 19 year old shoulders.
It really didn’t do me any good looking at that match today as it patently was a match that we should have won. I felt almost as bad as I did watching this years final, from which I am not yet cured.
