Cork Hurlers - Part 2

Bryan O’Mara from Tipp was the big omission I felt. I thought he was nailed on at wing back to be honest and he had a better year overall than both Joyce and Huw Lawlor.

If I was picking the team the only change I would have is moving R.Maher to full back where he played a lot of the year and brought O’Mara into half back line . Otherwise I think the team is fair enough..
The team is largely picked from the final.
If Cork had won they would have seven or eight probably and Tipp maybe three or four.

Should one game, or in this case half a game carry such weight in a seasons hurling?
