A thing I am looking forward to is the Clare and Limerick crowd holding their noses and shouting for Tipp for the next two weeks, to fuck all avail.

Living in Limerick on the Tipp border. 200 yards up the road and I’m in Tipp. Believe me all Limerick people around here will be rebels for the next fortnight. I couldn’t believe the bitterness from the Tipp neighbours after Limerick won in 18. They ended a 45 year famine and nobody on the Tipp side of the border could bring themselves to be happy for them

I’m years waiting to play Tipp in a final and will now spend the next 2 weeks dreading it. I think we will win. The hurt from last year will drive us on and believe me the hype in Tipp will be as great as in Cork.

Lot of comments about Barrett and Dudsy having poor enough outings but Hoggie still gets no criticism.
Set up Timmy’s goal beautifully, won 2 frees, scored 2 points but missed frees and lost 50/50s.
Meanwhile Connolly and Hayes were like the second coming of Christ and all forwards who came on contributed well.
Don’t see the merit for his immovable starting place but no hope they change the team for the final (unless Sham is fit for Dudsy).

Horgan was excellent, not sure what you were watching.

Love Morello but he’s been wrong about Downey and Coleman this year. He’s not the most critical of them among us but he’s regularly warning us about their shortcomings. Downey is playing 3 on an island. No one can do that without getting burned here and there. He’s been burned less than almost anyone else would. Mark Coleman is an all star again. He’s proven everyone who worries about his defense wrong all year. He’s also almost perfect on the ball. Doesn’t diminish how much I enjoy his posts, no one is right all the time.

Whatever way the final goes, it will be the start of a new epic rivalry between Cork and Tipp that will last the rest of the decade.

If the GAA investigation into the score somehow concludes that the semi needs to be replayed, KK will beat Tipp
