Cork Hurlers - Part 2

I'm just nervous after the 2024 final, we probably were good enough to win but didn't do it. I hope we have learned something this year going forward to the final but Tipp will go for goals against our defence.
We didn’t perform in last years final.
I think the figure quoted was only 3/4 of the Cork team played up to par, and we still could have won it.
Amazing

Should have been better in the final last year, but after yesterdays performance, we should be good.

Apologies if this has been said already but since 2005 we have had 5 days (2 in 2013) we trekked up to Croke Park with an AI to be won and, in my view, we haven’t once played well. In truth the other team were better than us (not just on the scoreboard) each time. First thing we need to do in a fortnight is play well. If we do that, we are very likely to win no matter what Tipp do.

And in contrast Tipp’s recent record in finals is good. They’ve won their last 2 and 3 of their last 6. If we perform to the best of our ability we should win. Can’t see us winning by 10 however.

Anyone any clue when the tickets will be available to season ticket holders?

Also not sure if it's been said but a disgrace they couldn't sell out that stadium today. Tipp should be limited to the amount of tickets they sold for today!

I’d say there were 35k Tipp fans there. We don’t want that many Tipp fans at the final!!!!

I don't think Cork played badly in last years all Ireland final at all. Just beaten by a point on the day by a team who at that time usually beat us by a point.

We hit 1-29 in normal time FFS, 1-34 overall, with Johnny Murphy probably costing us another 1-4 at least.

35,000- 40,000 Tipp supporters there today.
They will be limited to 13,000 tickets for the final, just like Cork. 👍

Infrequent visitor these days since we limerick are on our holidays and me too down in deep south, ballycotton. Caught most of both games ,I'd put cork as favourites for final no doubt but finals are there to be won by both teams. Favouritism goes out the gate when the ball is thrown in ,for the purists I suppose it's going to be a classic showdown cork v tipp etc.
Both will fancy their chances and both teams have goals on their minds and have the ability and skills to get them. No preference here on winner as a limerickman i want both to lose 🤣.
Seriously though best of luck to both teams and if cork win it will be a great day for the county and yere supporters. Enjoy the day and the game ,these are the days we all dream about as young lads picking up a Hurley and sliothar.
