I did sell the spare. Attended myself. First time seeing them, very good but wouldn’t go again, agree with you on the vocals thing. An hour of them was enough for me.

On another note, 6 euro for a Guinness in C.A. is still a very fair price for town. Paid 6.90 pre gig in the Long Valley and they are taking the piss, won’t be back for some time.

i didnt have any drink in ca. before gig i was in poor relation.. 6.10 for beautiful Heineken....pensioners price like. never liked the long valley..

Inhaler tonight in what was the Courtyard on Sober Lane. Heineken Promotion job. 20 a ticket and with that, 2 free pints per person, albeit unfortunately only Heineken!!

Inhaler were excellent now tbf. Good sound, good gig. I was right by the exit and left hastily to beat the rush as I had the setlist and the crowd inside were still calling for one more tune when I knew that that was the lot.

I had one free ticket and as I entered earlier I offered it to a bunch of about 12 lads and girls standing on the corner trying to look in over the wall to watch the gig. They said to me we've already tried, we can't get in. Fuck me I'm getting old.

As I left the band were ushered out a side door and this same group were there and infairness now to Bono's lad (the impressive frontman) he leaned in for photos with all of them and they were fucking over the moon and I was very happy for them now I must say, worth their wait clearly. T'was what I imagine was Westlife type screams. Mad shit. Jeez I'm getting old. Good gig anyway. 8/10.

I was at Inhaler also, good space in there, the
Band did well tbf, the venue has residential area, noise restrictions, so they were finished by 9’ish, after an hour onstage, 7/10

Trá Pháidín are playing in The Savoy next month (June 25th).

If you like your post-jazz Krautrock motorik with a side of Gaeilgeoir aus Connemara.

The door time for this gig tonight is pushed back to 9PM according to an email from Eventbrite who I bought my tickets from.

They're citing the heat as a reason. Slightly irksome, it's not that warm and one hour won't all that much difference in terms of dropping temperature.

Gig is not scheduled to finish until 1130PM now so that means that anyone hoping to use public transport to get home afterwards or those of us with an early start for work tomorrow will have to leave early.
