Shame announced for Cyprus Ave on Thurs Nov 13th.
I'll be there. Great booking imo.
I am stunned that the Shame gig isn't sold out or even a low ticket warning announced yet.

Thanks for the reminder on this.I am stunned that the Shame gig isn't sold out or even a low ticket warning announced yet.
Just reading back on this, breaking me ass laughing, two “exits” to beer garden while gig was ongoing ! talking shite was definitely better than listening through Mhaol !I went on Sunday - managed about 4 songs from Junk Drawer before they proceed to go up their own arses so I slipped out and sat in the beer garden.
To be fair to Junk Drawer - they sounded like they pulled it back a bit towards the end but I had seen them before and they were better on that occasion.
I didn't bother my hole going in to see M(h)aol. I think they are terrible - and it sounds like I'm still right.Sat in the beer garden talking shite for an hour instead.
Cola were absolutely class. Tim Darcy's guitar needed more volume for sure and I'm glad that he got his own way even after the sound engineer said it was fine (I don't think that the engineer fully understood what he had been asked).
Cola's songs, stage presence and how tight their playing is showed you the gulf in class between them and the support bands. With Ought, Tim Darcy, wrote some of the last decade's best songs - no sign of him fading with this band.
I could have done with a longer set from Cola.
.PiL sold out now according to CA's listings.
Hoping for a bit of this;
