I've got a ticket for Chimers on Friday night, can't go anymore. Happy to pass on the ticket if someone wants to go. Don't want money, just want to support the band and hope they get a decent turnout.

Thanks a mill for that, man. The gig was great. I saw Chimers in Kilkenny a fortnight ago at an afternoon show. It was wedged, so there were loads of doors open and a bit of sound bleed. Still really enjoyed it, but this setting was way better. Great band! Hubert Selby Jr. Infants were solid too. I really like this venue and the sound heads that go to these Tinnitus gigs, there's a good sorta community atmosphere built around them.

Could be worse! Yeah, about half full for HS Jr. Infants and maybe three-quarters for Chimers, not counting the very back. There were a few up at the top of the steps. I’m not sure how much you’d hear from the back bar, so not really counting that. They went down really well, they weren't getting away with not playing an encore.

Good venue?

I saw CLT DRP there back in February, immense gig, loved the venue. As someone mentioned, no stage to speak of, but I like that for the type of gigs that the venue is putting on. Lovely addition to the music venues of Cork!

Am back for June in Cork but there is nobody worth seeing. 2 years ago i saw The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers at Musgrave Park. This year its just shite paying there. The fucking Corrs.
