Cork GAA Club Coverage

Yes, the coverage of games this year has been really disappointing so far.

See thats the thing, you wouldnt mind if the county board said no streaming of senior games because the Examiner are covering senior championship games whenever they can. That'd at least let clubs stream junior/intermediate games. This blanket ban is bollox

The CCB dictate too much. Why not let junior / intermediate clubs choose themselves if they want to stream their club game.
It is perceived that the County Board will lose money but clubs that stream might also lose money on gate receipts.
Only a handful of clubs were running good streams so it wouldn't have been much of a revenue loss.

Putting the view of the county board to one side and taking the club perspective, the streaming of games was a complete pain to organise. The quality was very hit and miss and fairly costly if you went down the avenue of getting a professional company to do it. Obviously it was fine to do it when crowd restrictions were in place but I can't see too many clubs looking to organise streaming of games now that crowd restrictions have been lifted.
