Name a better all round back in Cork in terms of defensive ability and capability with ball in hand. Anyone who watches regular club championship games will tell you there isn’t one. And it’s not even close.

Maybe there’s 1/2 who are better man markers and maybe there’s a couple who are better with the ball, but there isn’t anyone who is as good an all-rounder as Clancy.

While changes are minimal at least they made some which his a change in itself for this management. I think leaving a free taker off is a mistake, especially if you are working on a hard running game like cork have which at least should draw frees.
Hurley is a good player but there are loads of games where he has been held, where does the scoring come from then?
Presume o’driscoll has been tearing it up in training as his for has been average enough for a senior player.
Cork May win in a low scoring horrific encounter between two teams who will hand pass sideways up to 400 times.
Looking forward to corks new kickout tactic of hitting it high and loopy to an overload 5 yards from the sideline, cannot see Harte combating that one

He’s an all star sure.

We can't afford to carry sherlock, he contributes nothing apart from frees and can't win his own ball. Better off having him a sub to bring on in last 10-15.

Yeah he has a phenomenal boot on him but can't win his own ball and is easily excluded from play in today's defensive game. Don't think his return from play has been that impressive. Great club player but found out a wee bit at IC. IMO.

All he needs is a few handy passes on the curl and he can score 2 or 3 from play. That along with his free prowess is worth a start in my mind.
