Yeah possibly four Ulster teams joining us in Div 2 next season and two Munster teams leaving i.e. Limerick and Clare. At least, Derry will be gone also.

Fair price given our absentees this year and the young age profile of the squad, we’re not favourites and rightly so but saying that I wouldn’t rule out Andy Scannell returning to the brewery town for the 10th time.

There’s a lot going in our favour, one of the best young managers in the country, some incredible young talents, a number of our intercounty guys hitting their peak and of course, we are Clon, and it means more in Clon, we’re a championship team and our tradition is always worth a few points, especially against clubs sans-tradition (Douglas, etc).
