Spot on. Sherlock is too markable to ever be a banker as a marquee forward. He had a great season and is huge addition and definite starter but doesn't have the pace to create his own openings. Jones has the opposite problem, plenty of pace but too erratic in front of goal.
Some promising prospects from this year's U20s - hopefully they'll bring in some or all of Coakley, Miskella, O'Neill and Barrett in addition to Sheedy. Not saying they'll all get game time during the league, but have them in the set-up to get them used to what's required, and maybe one or two will step up more quickly than that.

Don't burn them out. Sheedy was used too much in the spring. A couple of matches here and there during the league and ready to be called on in the championship.
Yes, but to develop players they need minutes also, to survive in division 1 we need more the. The current 20/21 players who are routinely being used
I'm not sure any of those guys are potential senior I/C footballers. Maybe in a few years if they can progress but the only game time they'll be good enough for the next 2 years is senior club championship. The step from u20 to senior intercounty is huge....unless you're a stand out player u20 you'll need 2 years to get to the pitch of senior.
