Cork Footballers

Pity Cashman has not been given a shot…still he should stick with it
Shame he never got a chance. If we could get a number 6 we would be extremly hard to beat but im not sure our options.Mahony and Walsh the best options there but then full back line weakens.
It would also be excellent if we had the reserves midfield to be able to move Colm O Callagh to 10 or 12 be some option there like the hulers are trying with Darragh Fitz

Has a final panel of 36 been picked yet ?
Despite our lack of schools and underage success its good to see a big number of CORK players play in Croke Park tommorow night in the Sigerson Cup final ...Cork players on both sides. Sigerson is a big medal to win .

Any guy starting on a sigerson winning team needs to be given a chance on the senior squad at the very least and if he’s dominating like Daly is he has to be tried in a starting jersey.
Dan Peet, Kennealy and Gough will all be brought into the extended training squad on evidence of their sigerson performances so far.

Won't be a big crowd go to Tullamore.
Will be going.
Not sure if it's a gimme.
At the same time its a game we should be winning if we are a serious team.
They look like one of the teams doomed already.
Just like us to slip up.
I don't think we will.
Louth are better and that game was played in a shithole.
And we dealt with them comfortably enough.
Id pick as strong as team as is available and go out to do a right job.
It wont be televised.
It wont be spoken about.
They'll get no credit.

And that's fine.

I think we are very much improved this year. And this Sunday is one of those fixtures where you can set your season up or drag a big black cloud of self doubt over yourself.
We are a better side. With better players.
No messing. Cold. Killer. Get the job done

Although im not his biggest fan I still think David Buckley should at least be givin a starting Jersey now sunday against Offaly and let him at least show what he is capable of he should have more to offer at this stage than say Ruairi Deane who has been a great servant to cork.Cathail O Mahony should also start on Sunday and see like wise what he can offer the team this might be the last chance we get to mix it up a bit for year ahead all the remaining games will be extremely hard to win and best 15 available will probably start all remaining games.
