Cork Footballers

Any sort of ideas on what team will line in out for start of league
Sherlock in anyway I’d say
Be hard enough team to pick hopefully everyone stays fit
O Mahony and Corbett need a good run

Sherlock should be given a few starts even if it isn't working, we need to stick with it in the league and see if he can adapt to the pace of IC. Likewise Buckley.

Conor Daly should get game time, he can be the man to replace Hurley long term.

And its still not too late for Mark White to be convinced to return. He is in the top 5 keepers in Ireland. Given how pivotal the position has become, it is madness JC isn't pulling out all the stops for this guy. My understanding is he hasn't even picked up the phone to speak to White. Madness.

Something positive i suppose. Midleton won a P1 u16 double so there's other lads in other clubs very good at football

“You’re from a club in east Cork which is predominantly hurling – which is most clubs in east Cork – and if you’re a very good footballer and you want to play at a good level, I think it’s a great opportunity,” O’Neill says. “To say, ‘look, I have a chance here to play Premier football against the Nemos, the Barrs, and the Douglas’s of this world’.

Even Douglas mentioned ahead of Clon . . .

This is a brilliant idea which would certainly help the development of football.
Therefore I fully expected the board to veto it.

"A host of clubs in Imokilly simply don’t field football teams at minor level. It leaves U17s idle for an entire year, unable to play junior and with no competitive football at all"

Another reason to get rid of that stupid rule.
