A great player. I always felt something might happen when he got on the ball. I remember v Mayo up in the Gaelic Grounds in 2017. Powter was electric that day. Best of luck for now Sean and thanks.

That night in 2020 when he got motm from RTE he said "i just love Cork Football " sums him up always gave 110% such a cruel time with injurys
Came along in the worst run without any real success for his Club and County ....A Munster u21 medal from 2016 is his lot
Thanks to Seanie a real dynamo and crowd favourite ...best of luck and young enough to feature again for the Cork footballers.

A shame injuries ruined him. Probably more known for his injuries than what he did on the pitch, unfortunately.

I think we have a strong team going forward this year hopefully powter comes back at some stage would be great to see him win something

I'd imagine actually knowing quite how bad an injury is wouldn't help :/

It's a sad day, great footballer for club and county, wish him all the best with whatever is next be it off or on the field
