True. He can’t play with Hurley. Not the first forward either. Corks attack will improve significantly whenever Hurley retires or isn’t selected.

If (and its one helluva if), Cork win their next 4 matches in Senior Hurling and Football (3 F, 1 H) we will be playing a match in Croke Park on every one of the next 6 weekends! Draws in the AI Final(s) could extend that too.

Yeah playing with Hurley made him miss easy opportunities and repeatedly drop the ball short.

Walked past Jim o donoughue on the pitch at portlaoise , he looked fairly emotional, we all agree huge problems with cork football with the underage results and schools but I think we can separate out those conversations and support the players/management involved who are giving a huge commitment to push the group further. Marginal whether Powter , Cathal o Mahony or CoJ should be starting but guess I’m hoping they would bring their best form rather than some of the poorer performances they had at times this season , ideally Hurley as an impact sub , no idea how close to the underage version of Corbett we will see again but we got glimpses of his potential in league last year what a story it would be for him to come back Saturday night and make some impact

I’m a man of my word when I say Hurley always plays well vs the Dubs and I expect him to have a blinder Saturday.
