Don’t understand Cleary at all, the league is supposed to be for trying out new players but the only change he’s made in 3 games is Walsh for Powter and Doyle for Martin both because of injury. How are we supposed to know if the likes of Cashman, Desmond, O’Connor and Murphy are up to championship football if they only get 5 mins here and there in the league

Yep, id prefer to be playing young up and coming players with underage all AIs in their pockets, as opposed to bringing on 30 plus year olds who have never played at a higher level than we currently are

That’s now 2 wins from 3 for Cork even with all the injuries and withdrawals earlier in the year. Think huge credit should be given to John cleary and the players on the pitch.

Westmeath and Meath at home were the two easiest games in every aspect, on paper. But important to win both. Ironically the game that was lost against Down was the game that should have been won.

It’s early days but the Jeckyll and Hyde performances are still very much to the fore. Often within games on their own. At least a few guys are stepping up as leaders like Jones who got 3-4 today which is massive scoring.

While that is true, I feared relegation was going to be on the cards and just one more win now should secure Sam maguire football. Some credit is certainly due.
