Won it twice - and could have won it a third time except O’Driscoll stumbled with a 2-point free last kick of the game.

Hit the post 4 times, Down hit it once (for a goal tbf).

Walsh in midfield was very impressive. Powter going off was a real change (but it all went well for @ bit after), jones very quiet really bar the goal (which was from a Down mistake at a kick out).

Both of Cronin’s two pointers were from frees awarded because Down couldn’t count bodies in the Cork half (and we got away with one of them late on).

Very disappointing to lose having been 10 points ahead, no matter what the conditions. Would been massive but on we go. I still believe that this group can finish top 2.
