Gave powerful performances against one of the worst nemo teams in years and still didn't beat them. That’s a great point, silver linings and that. Could work out as many of those Clon lads gave powerful performances in the draw against Nemo.

Any chance Brian Hayes could be coaxed back into the panel? We really need a centre forward.Hugh of what I have seen of him will be nowhere near the panel. Has been very poor past 2 years with Club and u20 with cork. Might have some chance if he does serious gym work over next 12 months . Management are meeting players individually these past few weeks . It will be interesting to see how many of the fringe players will come along as we have seen they are only being used as ball boys and unable to play league games with their clubs .
There must be some awful delicate boys down in Clon. This been going on 3 years? ?With Flahive gone now will this open the door for the Clon boys to return. AFAIK no issue with the other Douglas man Powter
Why do we persist with this Fantasy. WHY.Any chance Brian Hayes could be coaxed back into the panel? We really need a centre forward.
Just imagine what it would take to convince a man who had a standout season for the hurlers, playing matches in packed stadiums, and within a puck of a ball of an all Ireland medal, to play a boring defence based game of football, in secondary stadiums filled with stewards and players family members who got free tickets, and a few diehardsAny chance Brian Hayes could be coaxed back into the panel? We really need a centre forward.

Do you really think that Brian Hayes, who was one of our best hurlers this year is going to leave the panel to play for a team beaten by Louth, ffs I hope he has more ambition than that.Any chance Brian Hayes could be coaxed back into the panel? We really need a centre forward.
Bottom line they didnt win all ireland and havent in years.Just imagine what it would take to convince a man who had a standout season for the hurlers, playing matches in packed stadiums, and within a puck of a ball of an all Ireland medal, to play a boring defence based game of football, in secondary stadiums filled with stewards and players family members who got free tickets, and a few diehards
