Cork Footballers

Lead up to goal was harsh in my opinion, Doyle was looking for options (didn't think he was taking too long) and the wind knocked the ball off the tee (not his fault or doing in my opinion) ref blew whistle - jump ball and then a goal
It's not O Mahony's first time riding Cork either. He gave them a couple of tap overs in the 2nd half that had the Cork backs scratching their heads. Great to beat the hoors and Mark Cronin's winner was simply beauuuuuuuuuutiful.

Wouldn’t judge a whole pile from today but it’s better to win than lose and generally speaking it’s clear to see the team is far more tactically in tune than previous years. We saw it last year but it was good to see the team not just sit back defending for the entire game. We can and will attack.

Could be a case for Doyle to start in goal too as he does bring a bit more to general play than Martin and is probably better at kicking it out too.

Easy to say this now but Kerry without either Clifford, mainly David, are not a level above anyone.

Excellent post.
Cork were impressive today.

Good game considering time of year and conditions. What’s fairly clear is the panel is stronger for sure, 3 subs came on and scored, Doyle did well and I presume will start next weekend. I know buckley did well but Corbett is a serious player, he can win it anyway and there are very few players able to give it off as quick and accurately, always has the head up looking for options.
Anyway huge test lies ahead but overall more positive than anything else
