No denying we see things through red and green tinted glasses at times (no different to other club men here) but the relentless sniping at Clon by a small handful of posters is what has degraded and derailed discussion. As I’ve said before, I’m more than happy to keep it on topic.

Big difference between my questioning the on field performance of players and a manager (which was never any worse than others say about Clon men) and a guy brining up an amateur players personal life in a public forum. Disgraceful carry-on, like I said it shows the depth of spite many from no-mark clubs have for Clon.

I wear my pride for Clon on my sleeve and make no bones about that, others here will never refer to their own club but will simply snipe at other more successful clubs from the ditch, I know which approach I’d prefer.

It would be a lot more interesting if you told us how Clonakilty are trying to implement a new playing style that suits their primary strength (speed) this year - from what I am hearing so far they are producing a much faster transition from defence and through midfield, and hurting teams with quick switches in direction of play in advanced positions to runners on opposite wing - seems to be working so far. Now that would be a lot more interesting stuff to discuss ?

Hear hear. Fox Leary has totally ruined this thread. I do not know what his intentions are but it is causing great harm to this thread and forum. It is relentless at this stage. A pity because a lot of us want a genuine discussion on Cork football.

They spent weekend in West Cork, A v B in Castlehaven yesterday apparently. I expect us to win next week once not missing too many with injuries (Hurley in particular) and we turn up & don't panic.

Clare fancy it and will def ask some hard questions.

Far more concerning than the Clonakilty nonsense is the leaking of information from inside the Cork Football camp. If any poster has access to information and they have any regard for Cork Football they should keep it private and not be publishing.
