Cork Developments

They'll not be leaving there anytime soon, Ringaskiddy isn't actually that big, and Marino point hasnt been developed yet.

The motorway isn't online yet either.

It'll be 2040 by the time they start to vacate I'd say, maybe even later if we have another 2008 crisis.

Some coin....
Id prefer a proper green space in the city centre which could be provided for a fraction of the cost by minor landscaping of the vacant building sites at the former FAS offices and the stalled event centre. The event centre site now even has new bridges improving connections to a closed and derelict site.

It's a glass box extension.

at least it's going upwards.

93m, fucking hell.
Don't like it.

It's really not in keeping with the rest of the building. Know that's something architects love to do, but it results in buildings that are a horrendous mishmash of styles.

I tried to get AI to do a version with a copper dome that's more in keeping with the style of that sort of building and would match the current green turret (on the left in the above photo.

It did not go well.

Yeah, it's really terrible.

€93 is mad money too, wasn't that how much we were supposed to spend on the event centre? Any chance we could have that please? Or a proper concert venue, even stick it around the Marina, that would be lovely.

Or houses, that would be good, €93m would build 250 gaffs, that would be good.

I've actually never stepped foot inside the Crawford, to my shame, maybe it'll be not shite, who knows, what would be lovely though, is some green areas, the peace park is now a corridor, and will be a tent village in no time.

Crawford is grand, it is a bit small but was nice last time I visited.
