Lakeview to glanmire roundabout takes me 10 mins even in early morning traffic,Like I'll give credit it's fairly okish in rush hour you move steadily due to all the merging but one crash/over height vehicle and the place is bedlam.

I was for a while but driving sees me home 20 mins earlier than when getting the train,I thought you were a train man jimmy?
From N40 North to M8 no problemYou are wrong, Traffic from the east heading to the city was chronic ,as people avoided the tunnel,
Obviously common sense is too much for some peopleYes, let's spend €230M so we can avoid one traffic jam every few years.
Making sense appears to be too much for others.Obviously common sense is too much for some people
It’s chaos coming from the east to the tunnel. How does a road “improvement” scheme actually make traffic worse on probably the busiest route in to it.Making sense appears to be too much for others.
You said the magic word there " tunnel "It’s chaos coming from the east to the tunnel. How does a road “improvement” scheme actually make traffic worse on probably the busiest route in to it.
The whole point of the project was to prevent accidents like this morning and disregard the impact to people travelling from east? You said the magic word there " tunnel "
That is restricted to 2 lanes in either direction, the entire design of the Dunkettle Interchange is designed around and in all fairness compromised by that fact.
The whole point of the project was to prevent incidents like what happened this morning from impacting on all traffic approaching from all sides.
That has been achieved.
You might please highlight where it was that I used the word " accident "The whole point of the project was to prevent accidents like this morning and disregard the impact to people travelling from east?
Sorry but that is stupid and I have no doubt that was a brief never given to any road designer.
Accident/ incident, you knew what I meant. You might please highlight where it was that I used the word " accident "
Also point out please where I said " people travelling from East "
I will just chill here and eagerly await your response
