Cork city has gone to the dogs.

There was a time when myself and the missus would get the bus into the city on afternoon Saturday, have a few pints and some food. We would then stop off in Costigans for the last drink before getting a bus back out. No more I’m afraid.
Two many scumbags and walking dead in the city now.
We also couldn’t get a seat in Costigans as all the table were booked out for partie(s), bollox
Was the rugby on? All tables get booked up by feens that have to bring the oldoll out with them
 
I often wonder how close any of us are from being like that. How an event in your life could send you down that path.
Abuse, alcoholism, drugs, homelessness, hopelessness, death.
I bet most have stories so horrific, so dehumanising and disturbing, that we in our comfortable lives don't want to hear about.

Crack away lads, keep stamping down on them.
Never mind demanding they get the help they badly need.
