This new "park" is the worst thing to happen to Cork City since we started to allow Clare people to visit.

Littering used to be an act that was abhorrent.

It was a while back but I was disgusted to see it even back on the early noughties.

A young one launched nonchalantly behind her empty McDonalds.

I lost it.

'Hey you.' 'Yea you...Pig!'

Her friend tried it on with ...you shouldn't call a woman pig...

Backed off..picked up and binned.

Called them back and said just dispose of it
No need for confrontation....just have some pride in your communal area.

It was a lovely park that needed some minor upgrades such as more bins, native trees, modern paving and seating.

Instead we got an Industrial smoking area from the 1980’s Soviet Union that is open all night for destruction and potential violent and sexual crime.
