I saw on a rival forum recently a thread about a house in the Mardyke with 9 bedrooms available to rent, it was advertised on daft, now don't tell that house is compliant with the regulations, it sounds like a tenement.

A friend of mine lived down by the Mercy for years. It was a bedsit really. The stairs up to his place were a death trap.

I lived in the Maradyke area back in the 90s
There was officially 6 of us in the house. 6 bedrooms over 3 levels. Most of those rooms had double beds so girlfriends practically living there as well.

I was at a house party in one of the huge Georgian terrace houses across from Pres years ago.

It was essentially being used by squatters so wasn't in great condition, but it was an absolutely incredible house. A piece of times gone by in Cork

Was just outside the Bronx enjoying a nice slice of pizza but there was a some looper using the barrels and shelters to smoke fags and drink Carling. Normally I'd listen to these guys but this guy was fucking dodgy with a capital D. He says his name is Justin or Jerry and that he used to be an engineer. I'd kind of believe it as he had a middle class buzz about him. He said he's planning to go to City Hall and shoot everybody inside. He was ranting like a maniac. Then he said to me don't be condescending to me as he can't stand people being condescending to him. I didn't say a word to him. He was really nasty, angry, and aggressive. I had to leave with half my slice as I was very close to one twoing him in the face.
