Cork city has gone to the dogs.

It's a beautiful autumnal day, I don't know what would posess you to spend it hanging around with the great unwashed on Grand Parade shouting about shit that is of no relevance to Ireland.

The Palestine war thing is over, and deny it all ye want, they have President Trump to thank.

No doubt these people will move onto some other cause now. Any excuse to take over the city centre every Saturday and make families choose Mahon Point and Douglas instead.

That it is.

Lovely day for a ramble
A ramble sounds lovely. Or a ramble to a café. It's a bit late, now, though. They all seem to be setup for the early morning crew. Anyway, I'm knackered, and the pubs will be mental with the weekend. I'd just like to stroll somewhere to sit and chill. Somewhere warm and cosy, and not hectic.

Mental health initiative
Yeah. Encouraging people to talk to the other people in their lives. And be open about how they're feeling, etc. It can be tough to find the avenue into it, but when I manage it it's worthwhile.

Too much stock put in, "How are you?" - "Ah, shur, grand!"

At least the Men's Sheds and the like are there, now. And I've seen a few Women's Sheds talked about online. Might seem more attractive than "The Community Centre." Although the community centres are great for the various groups that meet in them. A lifeline to many people. And even if it's not a lifeline they're a great place for a chat, a cup of tea and free biccies.
