Cork city has gone to the dogs.

As you said there's never an ounce of trouble that park, it's a very pleasant place and a great asset to the community, is the Coffee Hut (or Dough Hut as I still call it).

It's a wakeup call for how isolated they are there though. Who do you run to for help on a miserable day like today and you're alone with these vermin? It'd never happen in a shopping centre because at least the girl could run into a neighbouring shop

Was that not the same park where about 15 years ago two school girls were fighting with a big crowd around them egging them on and one girl being told break the other girl's nose using a cigarette lighter?

A gang of ferral 12 year old boys giving a girl a hard time in a horse box you say.......

Just sounds like a "hopping"
Back in my day in the nineteen nineties, hoppings were common as cups of tea at a funeral.

I got a good few random baitings myself. You didn't even have to know the perps, they used just go around looking for people to hop.

I remember I knew a fella called Walshy, he was walking up that side lane by the Metropole, there was a young scobe on crutches who just started swinging the crutch at him lol. For no reason whatsoever.

Not everyone at a funeral asks for two cups of tea at the same time just for themselves you know 😜
