There's needles around Wellington Rd too off it on the steps. Anytime I'm walking from town I see empty vodka bottles on the ground by Griffith College. It's every day like someone drinks it and leaves it there.

I don't see needles around at all which is surprising given where I live as there are always addicts around the place.

Leaving them in parks and places where kids play is just disgusting.

A friend of mine managed a bar in town and was stabbed with a needle in the jacks, he had to go through all sorts of tests and counselling

I see guys jacking up by Shelias Hostel as well but behind cars. It's off the roads they usually go to avoid cops maybe.

Does anyone ever pass the Parklet outside the flower shop on Douglas Street at night?

You'll see some of the roughest, most intimidating troublemakers you will see anywhere.

The parklet in theory great but it becomes a nuisance after dark. They leave the place in shit every time so the lady from the flower shop has to clean up after them first thing every morning.

It should just be got rid of IMO

Also, it is known that druggies congregate around the Lough occasionally so the risk is there.

I live not far from there, and walk it every day..

Been a few noticeable increase in junkies out there over the last month alone. Was bad enough for a while, but it is getting worse.

I saw him from a distance as I was driving up Summerhill South, he seemed to be doing a lot of capers alright.
